Welcome to TravelFlow. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data you process while using our mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled.

1. Information Collection and Use

TravelFlow is designed as a privacy-focused, offline-first travel itinerary and budget management application.

• Local Data Storage: All your travel itineraries, activity plans, flight details, accommodation bookings, budget entries, notes, and uploaded trip documents are stored locally on your device using an encrypted local database.
• Biometric Security: If enabled, biometric data (fingerprint or face unlock) is handled exclusively by your Android device’s native biometric hardware security framework. TravelFlow does not collect, store, or transmit your biometric data.
• Camera & Photos Access: If you choose to attach photos or documents to your trips, camera and storage permissions are used solely to store those files locally on your device.

2. Third-Party Services & Network Interactions

To provide essential navigation and currency features, TravelFlow interacts with the following services:

• Google Maps & Places API: Used to display location maps, airport timezones, and place search suggestions in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.
• Exchange Rate API: Used strictly to fetch current currency exchange rates for multi-currency trip budget calculations. No personal information or trip details are transmitted to currency servers.

3. Data Sharing and Selling

We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data, trip itineraries, or documents with any third party, advertiser, or data broker. TravelFlow contains no third-party tracking SDKs or advertising networks.

4. Data Security & Backup

You retain complete ownership and control of your data. You can export your data at any time into a .tf backup file or delete your data by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.

5. Children’s Privacy

TravelFlow does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
